Columbus-based Worthington Industries announced on Tuesday that it will be closing its Wooster plant by the end of May, laying off more than 100 employees in the process.  The company says its plan is to consolidate its Wooster operation into its facility in Fairfield County, southeast of Columbus.  More than half of the Wooster employees will reportedly have the option of transferring to that plant, while all employees will receive a minimum of 60 days worth of pay and benefits.
