After announcing earlier this month that it will be closing its Wooster plant this spring, Worthington Industries is now saying that workers are being laid off in four phases. The first workers were laid off last week, while the remaining rounds of lay-offs will take place in March, April and May. The closure comes as the company consolidates its Wooster plant with one of its facilities south of Columbus.
