The Indians could not have started the game off in a better way; Bradley Zimmer homered on the first pitch of the game. Daniel Johnson also hit a homerun in the 7th, which broke a 2-2 tie in Cleveland’s favor. Zach Plesac notched the win, pitching for 6 innings, giving up 2 earned runs and tallying 3 strickouts. Bryan Shaw got the save.
