The Mount Eaton Care Center celebrated a milestone earlier this month.  The care center was happy to announce that it delivered its 14,000th baby on the morning of August 14th.  The care center, which was founded as a nonprofit in 1984, was established to provide a comfortable birthing service for the area’s Amish and Mennonite communities.  Currently, the care center features eight beds and a staff of 18 nurses, including RNs and LPNs, as well as a dozen aides.  The care center also recently added to its staff its very first EMT.
