A 77-year old Ashland man is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a semi. It happened yesterday morning, at around 3am, in Ashland County. According to the highway patrol, the semi was traveling on I-71, near the 250 overpass, when the pedestrian walked into the right lane of traffic. The driver of the semi, a 33-year old man from Elyria, was not injured. The patrol says he is not considered to be at fault.
