Wayne County Commissioners have hired Wooster’s Bogner Construction to manage the expansion and renovation project at the Wayne County Jail. According to an architect’s estimate, the two-phase project is expected to cost $33 million and will include the construction of a new building and a remodel of the jail facility. Construction of the new building is expected to begin this year, with the jail renovation portion of the project planned for 2024.
