Two gas lines are set to be replaced in Medina County by Columbia Gas in the coming months. Columbia Gas will be replacing aging gas lines in Lodi and Gloria Glens Park, with the hopes of having the projects done by early summer at the very latest. Columbia Gas expects to replace nearly 12,000 feet of line in Gloria Glens Park, stretching from Eastlake Road south to Playland Parkway along Lake Road. In Lodi, nearly 6,000 feet of line is going to be replaced near State Route 83 in the village. Columbia Gas said they will be installing plastic pipe to help lines last longer, and there is no charge to current customers as the work is part of a $2 million plan by Columbia to improve safety and reliability to its customers.
