With the problems presented by the coronavirus, work has slowed on bring more development to Wooster’s north end.  The Wooster planning commission has approved a one-year extension for the developer to submit a final plan application for the development that is expected to include Menard’s and Meijer’s stores to Wooster.  The extension was requested so the developers could work with the prospective tenants, and due to issues presented by the coronavirus.  It means the arrival of those stores plus others that might go into the development near State Route 83 and Smithville-Western roads is still more than a year away.
