More than $130,000 is being made available for emergency food and shelter programs in Wayne County, all thanks to an award from Ohio’s Set-Aside Committee. The United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties has been chosen to be the grant’s fiscal agent, meaning it will determine which local agencies receive the funds. The United Way will be hosting an informational meeting later this month for any organizations interested in applying for a share of the grant.
