Holmes County Commissioners have approved a resolution regarding a lighting project for the Holmes County Courthouse tower. By passing the resolution, commissioners officially accepted an engineering firm’s design bid of $38,000. As part of its agreement with the county, the engineering firm’s experts will give guidance and recommend which lights should be used to light the courthouse. The firm will partner with commissioners for the remainder of the project as well.
