The Holmes County Humane Society is asking for the public’s help in identifying the person who has been leaving dogs in front of its building. A Facebook post from the humane society shows video of the person driving up in a truck and tying a dog to a railing outside the building. The Labrador Retriever left behind was without shelter or water for 10 hours, while the humane society says a small cage with two Huskies was also left in the snow for over 12 hours several weeks ago. According to the humane society, it appears to be the same person in each instance. Anyone who recognizes the vehicle or person in the video is asked to contact the humane society or the Holmes County Dog Warden.
