Holmes County has been recognized by a national magazine for its continued economic growth. Site Selection Magazine has named Holmes County one of the top ten rural counties in the nation, based on the amount of private projects last year that had a capital investment of more than $1 million. Holmes County had a total of five such projects, including a $1.7 million expansion at Walnut Creek Foods and a $1.5 million effort at Keim to modernize its inventory equipment.
