A local church is collecting toys for kids affected by the tornadoes that tore through parts of Kentucky earlier this month. The toy drive at Grace Church, at the north end of Wooster, runs through tomorrow. Residents can drop off toys anytime today and tomorrow during the Church’s normal office hours. Then on Wednesday, church volunteers will head down to Mayfield, Kentucky to deliver the toys. As of late last week, more than 500 toys had already been donated. In addition to the actual toys, Grace Church officials say they’re accepting financial donations for the toy drive as well.
