A $1 million grant from the U.S Army Corps of Engineers has been awarded to the village of Lodi.  The money will be used to help pay for a number of large-scale water infrastructure projects, including the replacement of a 90-year old water tower.  Other improvements will include replacing water lines, valves and hydrants on several different streets.  All told, the improvements are expected to cost around $2.6 million.  Work is scheduled begin sometime next year.
