Melrose Drive project to begin this spring

A major construction project is slated to begin this upcoming spring on Melrose Drive here in Wooster. Work will include tearing up around one mile of the road and repaving it from just north of Milltown Road to Smithville Western Road. Also included will be the installation of brand new water, stormwater and sanitary sewer utilities. Wooster’s city engineer says that construction on Melrose Drive is expected to last around two years and cost around $3.8 million.
