The Menards and Meijer store project is still on track to happen on Wooster’s North end but it may be another two years before anything happens with the project. The Wooster planning commission approved a new preliminary development plan earlier this month and now the project planners have two years to either submit a final plan or ask for an extension. The project would see water and sewer stretched to the property, which is on the northeast corner of State Route 83 and Smithville Western Road. The project would also include a new roundabout just north of the existing roundabout at the 83 and Smithville Western intersection.
