The Northwestern Local School District has released the findings of a preliminary investigation into the alleged actions of Superintendent Jeffrey Layton. Northwestern’s longtime superintendent was placed on paid administrative leave earlier this month, following allegations of unprofessional conduct toward several of the district’s employees. According to the district, the investigation, which was conducted by an independent third party, found that there was no evidence whatsoever of any illegal or immoral behavior by Layton.
