Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg recently celebrated the contributions of its volunteers at its annual Volunteer Recognition Banquet. The highlight of event, which was held at the Carlisle Inn in Walnut Creek, was the presentation of the hospital’s Volunteer of the Year award, which went to Emma Carpenter. 18 other volunteers were also recognized for reaching significant milestones during the last year. A total of 56 volunteers devoted more than 5,000 hours of service to Pomerene Hospital in 2023.
