Small plane crash under investigation near Wooster

Authorities are investigating the cause of a small plane crash that occurred Wednesday morning near Wooster. According to the Highway Patrol the crash occurred just about 10:30 when the small crop-dusting plane crashed in a home’s backyard on Bechtel Road between Eby and Canal Roads. The pilot of the plane was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The plane did not strike the home but did hit some power lines, and left debris in the area. The Federal Aviation Administration is assisting in the investigation.
