The J.M. Smucker Company is selling off its natural and organic beverage and grains businesses for a reported $110 million. Smucker’s announced on Thursday that it has an agreement in place with Nexis Capital Management to sell its R.W. Knudsen and TruRoots brands in a cash deal that is expected to close next year during Smucker’s fiscal third quarter. The Orrville-based Fortune 500 company says the move will allow it to focus even more on what it calls its core brands.
