Power outage affects 1,500 AEP customers in Wooster

A power outage in Wooster has caused traffic lights in parts of the city to not work. The city says that lights from Highland Ave north are currently out and should all be treated as a four way stop. AEP is aware of the outage and has crews out working to restore power to the affected area, and according to AEP some 1,500 customers in Wooster are currently without power, with an ETA of 7:00 p.m. for those customers to have power restored.
