Funds from the American Rescue Plan Act will pay for the entire cost of an upcoming renovation project at the Green Local School District’s Wilber Berkey Fieldhouse. The renovation work, which will take place over the summer, will include replacing the fieldhouse’s boilers and air conditioning unit, along with the heating and cooling units in the building’s weight room. Doors and windows in the fieldhouse and weight room will also be replaced. According to the district’s superintendent, bidding on the project will open at the end of January, with a contractor selected sometime in February.
