Firefighters with the Dalton and North Lawrence departments responded to a structure fire last night. The fire was reported just before 7pm at a garage in the 900 block of South West Lebanon Road. Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke coming from the garage and a truck that was parked inside on fire. Firefighters quickly put out the blaze and got the truck out of the garage. No word yet on the amount of damage to the truck, although pictures posted on the North Lawrence Fire Department’s Facebook page show considerable damage to the truck’s front end and windshield. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
