The West Holmes School District is mourning the loss of its superintendent, Aaron Kaufman. He was found dead Friday afternoon along Township Road 218 in Holmes County’s Knox Township. He was just 47 years old. Kaufman had only been the superintendent at West Holmes since February, but had been with the district for 27 years. He was considered by many to be dependable, energetic, and devoted.
