According to school officials, Wayne College will take a sizable hit due to the University of Akron’s budget cuts stemming from the coronavirus pandemic.  The college, which prior to the cuts had 57 full-time employees, is losing seven of its faculty members to layoffs, along with six staff and contract professionals to either resignations or retirements.  Despite the reduced number of staff members, the college says all five of its bachelor’s degree programs will continue to be offered at the Orrville campus.
