A two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon near Mansfield claimed the life of a Loudonville man. According to the Highway Patrol, the head-on collision occurred at around 2 o’clock, on State Route 39, when Aaron Carlson’s car went left of center and struck a vehicle driven by a 17-year old from Lucas. Carlson passed away shortly after arriving at a nearby hospital, while the teen suffered non-life threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
