There is a new way for Wayne County residents to get their dog license. In an effort to increase efficiency and make reuniting dogs with their owners a more streamlined process, the Wayne County Auditor’s Office has partnered with online dog licensing platform Docupet. Dog tags can be purchased in person, by mail or online, although the auditor’s office will no longer provide tags at the time of purchase. Instead, Docupet will mail out the tags within 7-10 business days. Sales begin Thursday and run through the end of January.
