Grief counselors will be on hand today at Wadsworth Middle School, following the death Friday of seventh grade student James Kennedy. The 13-year old was killed when the bicycle he was riding was struck by a van. According to the district’s superintendent, counselors began meeting with students and staff members on Friday night. If needed, the district says counselors will remain available even after today. Parents are asked to contact the district if they feel their child may need additional help coping with the tragedy.
