An Akron man was sentenced to life in prison Tuesday in Summit County for the death of a Wooster man last year. 28 year-old Daniel Shmigal pleaded guilty last week to murder and aggravated vehicular assault charges in the death of 33 year-old Charles Holden. Smhigal, who admitted to being on a “three day meth bender” at the time of the incident was given a life sentence, with the possibility of parole after 15 years.
