Canton man pleads guilty to child porn charges

In a federal courtroom Monday up in Cleveland, a Canton area man pleaded guilty to child pornography charges.  Among the charges against 33-year old William Doty are three counts of sexually exploiting children.  Doty was arrested back in July, following an FBI investigation into his Instagram account.  According to authorities, the charges involve an 11-year old girl from Doylestown, a 17-year old girl from Canton and a 17-year old Kentucky girl.  Doty faces up to 30 years in prison on each of the exploitation counts.  He’ll be sentenced in March.
