Car hit by train in Barberton, driver killed

One person was killed Saturday in Barberton after their vehicle was struck by a train. The incident happened around 2:15 PM at a crossing at Fairview and Norton Avenues. Authorities say that the train was going westbound when it struck the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle who passed away in the accident has not been identified to the public. No one on the train was injured.
