Cleveland Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco will be honored BY Major League Baseball during the World Series, as he was named the 2019 MLB Roberto Clemente Award winner for his humanitarian work. Carrasco will receive the award before game three of the World Series Friday in Washington D.C. He joins Jim Thome in 2002 and Andre Thronton in 1979 as the only Indians to be given the award, named after Pittsburgh Pirates great Roberto Clemente.
