The Cleveland Cavaliers fell to the Brooklyn Nets on the road Tuesday night in the NBA Play-In Tournament by a final score of 115-108.

The win for the 7-seed Nets sets up a series with the 2-seed Boston Celtics in the first round, while the Cavaliers will have one more opportunity to make the playoffs as the 8-seed. The Cavaliers will have to play the winner of the Atlanta Hawks and Charlotte Hornets Play-In game on Wednesday night. The winner will advance as the 8-seed to play the Miami Heat in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

For the Cavs, All-Star guard Darius Garland led all scorers with 34 points while dishing out five assists, while rookie center Evan Mobley had 19 points and seven rebounds. Veteran forward Kevin love had a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds off the bench, while forward Lauri Markkanen had 13 points and three steals.

For the Nets, star guard Kyrie Irving had a double-double of 34 points and 12 assists while All-NBA forward Kevin Durant also had a double-double of 25 points and 11 assists. Forward Bruce Brown had a near triple-double with 18 points along with nine rebounds and eight assists, while center Andre Drummond had 16 points and eight rebounds.

The Cavaliers next game will be a home matchup with the winner of Atlanta-Charlotte on Friday night, April 15th.
