The City of Rittman will be putting on a civil service test for the position of Full-Time Police Officer next month. The civil service test will take place on June 24th, with all applications needing to be turned in to Rittman City Hall no later than June 21st. Applications can be found online or picked up in person at the Rittman police department, on East Ohio Avenue. Applicants must be 21 years of age, possess an Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy certificate on or prior to the date of appointment, a high school diploma, and be able to pass an extensive background check.
