Wooster City Council has approved a resolution dealing with the second phase of the city’s streetscape renovation project.  Council’s approval was required by state law because a portion of the project will be funding with homeowner assessments.  Work on the $1.8 million project is tentatively scheduled to begin sometime next year.  It will include sidewalk improvements on both sides of East Liberty Street and on the south side of West Liberty, along with renovation work to the sidewalks and parking lots in the two southern quadrants of Public Square.
