Fire causes damage to home in Dalton but no one hurt

A fire caused extensive damage to a home in Dalton Thursday afternoon, but no one was hurt in the blaze. East Wayne Firefighters responded to a house fire at the Lincoln Terrace Estates around 12:30 p.m. after a passerby called about smoke and flames coming from the mobile home. The fire was quickly extinguished but did cause between $10,000 and $15,000 in damages. No one was home at the time of the fire. The cause remains under investigation.
