Fire damages Reedsburg home

A house fire yesterday afternoon in Reedsburg caused roughly $70,000 in damage, but fortunately no injuries were reported.  The fire occurred at around 1:30pm, at a two-story home on West Old Lincoln Way.  The family of nine was able to escape unharmed, but lost many of its possessions.  The American Red Cross is assisting the family, while any donated items from the community can be dropped off at the Jeromesville Fire Department.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
