A ceremony will be held prior to tomorrow night’s Wooster High School football game to unveil an Ohio Historical Marker honoring Charles Follis, the nation’s first professional African American football player.  Prior to turning pro in 1902, Follis, who passed away in 1910 at the age of 31, played football at both Wooster High School and the College of Wooster.  Tomorrow’s ceremony will begin at 5pm and include the reading of a proclamation by Governor Mike Dewine.
