Holmes County looking into funding for sewer projects

Holmes County Commissioners met with officials from two different groups to talk about sewer expansion in the county. The Monday afternoon meeting also included the Holmes County Health Department and Holmes County Engineer Chris Young speaking with officials from USDA and the Great Lakes Community Action partnership. The county is dealing with growth in Berlin and Winesburg, and are looking into funding sewer projects in both areas. The two projects would cost a combined $7,000,000 and would need to go through national funding appropriations before the county would see the money.
