The Holmes County Commissioners accepted the bid from Melway Paving Company and awarded a $267,648 contract to the company for upgrades to Township Road 211. The paving project will need to be done before the big Wally Road bridge replacement.  That $8 million project will mean closing the bridge while work is being done. Township Road 211 is being repaved to make it safe for the high volume of traffic that will use the road when the bridge is shut down.
