An arraignment hearing was held yesterday for the 19-year-old man accused of breaking into an elderly Mansfield woman’s home and stabbing more than 30 times earlier this month. Izzac Lawhorn appeared in Mansfield Municipal Court, where he is charged with felonious assault. Lawhorn was arrested over weekend in connection with the June 3rd attack. He is currently being held in the Richland County Jail on $1 million bond.
