Police officers in Medina were called out last week to rescue a deer from an above-ground swimming pool.  Officers responded to the incident on Thursday night, just after eight o’clock.  After figuring out the best way to extract the deer from the water, one officer looped an animal control pole around its neck and pulled it to safety.  After a few unsteady moments, the deer was able to get back on its feet and run off into some nearby woods.
