While there were no major issues, the Wayne County Board of Elections says there were a few hiccups with the new equipment used in Tuesday’s General Election.  More than 300 new voting machines were used for the first time this week and the board of elections says that some of them had problems with their audio visual devices.  Most of the county’s polling locations also had some trouble encoding voter access cards.  Despite the minor glitches, the board’s director says that all-in-all, the new equipment’s unveiling went over extremely well.
