Area farmers are being reminded that more than a billion dollars of funding set aside for agricultural needs is currently sitting unused on the state’s Ag-Link balance sheet.  Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague says only $285 million of the allocated $1.4 billion has been borrowed so far, meaning nearly 80% of the Ag-Link program’s funds are still available to help cover short-term spending needs in the agricultural sector.  More information is available on the state treasurer’s website.
