School board members in the Northwestern Local School District have approved their 5-year financial forecast. Like many school districts across the state and country, 2020 was a difficult year for Northwestern. Despite receiving $76,000 in COVID-19 federal relief funding, the district so far has spent more than $157,000 to implement health and safety measures along with purchasing cleaning supplies.
