The Wiles Storage Pond in Canaan Township will now be able to truck in more biosolids thanks to a new permit. The Ohio EPA approved a permit for the pond on Pleasant Home Road that will allow Class A and Class B biosolids to be brought in from approved facilities. The final permit clarified language in the application for groundwater monitoring at the pond, which is discharged to a tributary of the Killbuck Creek.
