Ohio lawmakers have approved the state’s latest capital budget, which includes money for the restoration of Shreve Lake.  $5.5 million dollars has been set aside to repair the dam at Shreve Lake, which was drained back in 2014.  The Division of Wildlife has already selected an engineering firm to handle the project, but several hurdles still need to be cleared, such as securing various permits from the Army Corps of Engineers.  Work on the project will begin next year, with a tentative completion date of sometime in 2024.
