Pregnant woman & 10-year old daughter injured in buggy accident

A pregnant woman and her ten-year old daughter were injured yesterday afternoon when their horse-drawn buggy was struck by a minivan.  It happened in Holmes County on State Route 557, near Charm.  The mother was lifeflighted from the scene after being thrown from the buggy, while her daughter was taken to Pomerene Hospital for her injuries.  The crash remains under investigation.
