Wooster City Council unanimously voted to approve roadway projects that will begin later this year. One of the projects for this year will see an improvement project for West Highland Drive from Oak Hill Road east of Tatum Lane, with the total cost sitting just over 1.2 million dollars. A new sidewalk plus improvements will be made to Sunset Lane between Armstrong Drive and Melrose Drive, which is set to cost $790,000. One project, which won’t start until next year, will see the city join up with ODOT for a resurfacing project on Old Mansfield Road, West Bowman Street, and Grant Street between Henry and Larwill Streets, with ODOT covering 73% of the cost of the $590,000 project.
