The Cleveland Guardians fell to the Colorado Rockies at home on Monday night by a final score of 6-0, marking the third loss in the last four games.

For Cleveland (11-12), the Guardians only accumulated four total hits in the ballgame, with three of them coming from outfielder Steven Kwan, who went 3-4 at the plate. Starting pitcher Cal Quantrill suffered his second loss of the season for going 3.1 innings, striking out two batters, but allowing eight hits and two walks for five earned runs.

For Colorado (7-17), outfielder Jurickson Profar hit a solo homerun in the 1st inning to give the Rockies a 1-0 lead. In the 4th inning, a pair of two-run RBI singles by shortstop Ezequiel Tovar and Profar then gave the Rockies a 5-0 lead. Second baseman Alan Trejo would hit an RBI single in the 5th inning to give the Rockies a 6-0 lead and eventual win. Starting pitcher Austin Gomber got his first win of the season for going 5.0 innings, striking out three batters and allowing three hits and three walks with no runs.

The Guardians will take on the Rockies at home again in the second game of a three-game series on Tuesday, April 25th, with first pitch set for 6:10 p.m.
